Holland Town Center to host first annual Easter celebration
HOLLAND TWP. — Easter might not be for another few weeks, but the Holland Town Center is ready.
From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, the center will host “Hop on Over” — its third holiday celebration in six months.
“It’s nice,” said Marissa Berghorst, owner of EcoBuns. “It’s the last Saturday of spring break, so it’s really for people who aren’t able to get away completely but still want something fun to do around town.”
The event will have face painting, a photo booth with the Easter Bunny in Suite B130, free tote bags for the first 300 visitors and prizes for children collecting eggs from participating businesses.
“Instead of doing scattered eggs and mass chaos, you’ll go to each store and pick up an Easter egg,” Berghorst said. “It’ll be similar to our trick-or-treating event, which has always drawn a lot of success and people, because we’ve done it for so many years.”

There will be several golden eggs with larger prizes inside. Registration for visitors will be set up between EcoBuns and Michigan Pantry.
According to Berghorst, the increase in center-wide events is related to new ownership.
“Now that Edwards Realty has ownership of the property, they’ve taken more leadership for organizing events,” Berghost said. “I’m really excited because it’s something we’ve talked about doing and now it’s finally happening.”
Edwards Realty Co. purchased the Holland Town Center in November 2017.
